Jonathan Schoenenberg is a research associate and Phd-Student at the Institut of Prehistoric Archaeology at the University of Cologne at the palaeolithic department. In his research he mainly focuses on geostatistical analysis of site distributions and the spatial analysis of finds and features in prehistoric sites. Central to his work are the use of geographic information systems as well as statistical analysis in R. His investigations primarily focus on Upper Palaeolithic periods in Europe and the Levant.
